Meridian Down - Book 1
OCTOBER 9th 2024
This was supposed to be an easy survey mission. But after 5 years scouting planets for real estate speculators, I should have known nothing is ever that easy.
Okay, bad news: my ship is smeared across the side of a volcano. Good news? Said volcano is the home of a lost colony and they managed to drag me out of the wreckage before I croaked.
They even have a scholar who learned English studying the archives from the original generational ship that brought them here.
He’s agreed to help me track down my ship’s escape pods and find my team, even though the old ladies running this place don’t seem keen on the idea. Plus, he’s easy on the eyes.
Speaking of eyes, his glow green when he looks at me. And it seems to be getting brighter.

About
Me
First of all, talking about myself makes me feel awkward. So I’ll interview myself.
Why do you write smutty scifi?
The first scifi book I ever read was The Last Starfighter, which has a romantic subplot and I think that planted a seed that space is sexy. Also, I grew up watching Star Trek and between Data, Geordi, and Deanna Troi, I never stood a chance.
What’s your writing background?
I have a degree in English with a concentration in Literature of the African Diaspora and a French minor. I wrote eleven novels before I decided I was ready to go public. I also freelance writing content for dentists and other businesses.
What’s your life like currently?
Exhausted. My human kids are 2 and 9, plus my geriatric puppos.
I was born and raised in Florida but currently live in Spain, where I enjoy walking the farms with my dogs and eating tapas at old man bars. Between my husband in dental school, owning my own freelance business, and producing novels consistently, I’m whooped!
Who’s your current author obsession?
For non-smut, I’ve been on a big Becky Chambers kick for a while now. I’m also a big fan of T. Kingfisher, Barbara Kingsolver, NK Jemisin, and Adrian Tchaikovsky.
For smut, I love Elizabeth Stephens, Kathryn Moon, Katee Robert, and Dalia Davies. Like many of us, I started with Ruby Dixon, who will always have a special place in my .... heart.
